Government of Balochistan has announced a contract-based career opportunity for a qualified and experienced professional as Deputy Project Director for the PSDP-funded project titled “Implementation of Hub City Master Plan.”

The position is based in Hub, District Hub, Balochistan. Candidates with at least 16 years of relevant education and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, infrastructure development, rural or urban planning, or development projects are eligible to apply.

Deputy Project Director Jobs in Hub Chowki 2026

The Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan, is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual for the position of Deputy Project Director. The selected candidate will work on the PSDP-funded Implementation of Hub City Master Plan project.

This is a senior project-based position suitable for professionals who have experience in development projects, infrastructure development, project management, and rural or urban planning.

Qualification Required

Applicants must have a minimum of 16 years of education with specialization in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution. Candidates with qualifications in the following disciplines can apply:

• BS/BE Engineering with valid registration with PEC.
• Project Management.
• MBA, MPA or MPP.
• Master’s degree in Economics.
• 4-year BS degree in Economics.
• Other relevant fields related to the project.

Experience Requirements

The candidate must have at least 5 years of professional experience in relevant areas, particularly:

• Rural and urban planning.
• Infrastructure development.
• Project management.
• Implementation of development projects.
• Experience in both public and private sector development projects.

The applicant should also have sound knowledge of project planning and implementation processes, particularly the project planning and management procedures followed by the Government of Pakistan.

Relevant experience as a Project Director in the public sector in Balochistan will be considered an added advantage.

Age Limit

The prescribed age limit for the Deputy Project Director position is:

• Minimum Age: 35 years
• Maximum Age: 62 years

The age will be considered as of the date of appointment.

Job Type and Contract Period

The Deputy Project Director will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two years. The contract may be extended on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and continuation/completion of the project.

The pay package will be provided according to the applicable Project Director/Deputy Project Director Policy.
