Project Director Jobs 2026 Eligibility Criteria
The Project Director position requires a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 16 years of education in a relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have a minimum of 16 years of education with specialization in a relevant field. The advertisement accepts candidates from the following disciplines:
- BS/BE in Engineering with registration from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
- Project Management.
- Public Policy.
- Relevant fields of Social Sciences.
- MBA.
- MPA.
- Master’s Degree or 4-year BS Degree in Economics or another relevant field.
Experience Required
Candidates applying for the Project Director position must have at least 10 years or more of professional experience.
The relevant experience should include work related to:
- Rural planning
- Urban planning
- Infrastructure development
- Project management
- Development projects
- Public-sector projects
- Private-sector development projects
The selected candidate must also have sound knowledge of project planning and implementation procedures of the Government of Pakistan.
Relevant experience working as a Project Director in the public sector in Balochistan will be considered an added advantage.
Age Limit
The age limit for the Project Director position is:
- Minimum Age: 40 years
- Maximum Age: 62 years
The age will be considered as of the date of appointment.
Job Type and Contract Period
The Project Director will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two years.
The contract may be extended on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and until completion of the Turbat City Development Project.
Selection Process
The selection of the Project Director will be conducted according to the Project Director Appointment Policy notified by the Planning & Development Department, Government of Balochistan.
Only candidates who meet the required qualification, experience and documentation requirements will be considered for shortlisting.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
